Our Facility

Silver Hill Farm is located directly down the street from the picturesque town of Waxhaw, North Carolina – just 17 miles from Ballantyne and 30 miles from uptown Charlotte.

The farm sits on 20.5 acres of land with private wooded trails. Our amenities include a 225′ x 145′ arena with Geo Textile footing, flat and manicured fields ideal for flat work, and a Horse Gym 2000 Equine Treadmill. We offer twenty 12′ x 12′ rubber matted stalls, an automatic fly spray system, heated wash bays, and individual turnout pastures professionally maintained with 4’6″ four-rail wood fencing.

Our amenities for riders/owners include a beautiful tack room and lounge, a covered gazebo overlooking the arena with plenty of comfortable seating and an entrance gate with security code access.

Three full-time grooms live on the property and are available at a moment’s notice for any emergencies with the horses.

Palmetto Equine Clinic is our primary veterinary clinic. Sam Tetterton visits the farm regularly to check on the horses.
